Following studies at the Jan Neruda Gymnasium and the Prague Conservatory, he has pursued his schooling in the class of Leoš Čepický at the Academy of Music in Prague. He has attended various master classes conducted by prominent artists, including among others Shlomo Mintz. Having accumulated an impressive record of competition awards (from, among others, the Kocian Violin Competition, Čirenie talentov in Slovakia, or the Beethoven Competition at Hradec nad Moravicí), he has been since September 2008 a member of the Prague Philharmonia orchestral academy. In April 2009 he was chosen a member of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra to appear in concert at New York´s Carnegie Hall. He previously performed the Goldberg Variations string trio transcription, along with Roman Patočka and Jiří Bárta, during last year´s Chopin Festival in Mariánské Lázně.
