He studied lute with the leading Czech luthier Rudolf Měřínský. Further study led him to master classes with legendary Professor Hopkins Smith, Linda Sayc and Jakob Linberg.
He is a founding member of the ensemble Les Voix Humaines Prague, an ensemble specializing in performing French music of the 17th and 18th centuries on period instruments, considered a leading body in the interpretation of French Baroque in our country.
He regularly performs at major domestic and European festivals and is a frequent guest of ensembles specializing in early music, such as Musica Florea, Collegium Marianum, Capella Regia, Collegium 1704, Hipocondria ensemble, etc.
As an ensemble player, he has participated in more than fifteen CD recordings. The solo CD was released to Jan Krejč a 2019 by Arta records under the name Intavolatura di Tiorba.
