He has ranked alongside leading presentday clarinettists. He graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, studied in Canada and then in Amsterdam before receiving various prizes for clarinet and chamber music at the international competitions of Paris, Toulon and Vierzon.
He is regularly invited to play with top European formations.
A member of Ensemble Paris-Bastille, he made a recording for Harmonia Mundi of Mozart and Beethoven serenades, a higly acclaimed album reanking him among the words´s leading clarinettists.
He has been a regular participant in the Kutna Hora Festival.
In December 2017 Lotos published a CD dedicated to the festival recordings with Michel Raison.
