Violinist of French-American extraction was lauded early on in her life as a “toddler prodigy.”
She obtained her first violin at age two, and a year later made her first public appearance.
Her subsequent musical training was taken care of by some of the finest schools. Studying in London and at New York´s Juilliard School of Music, her teachers were two of the world´s foremost musicians, namely, Yehudi Menuhin and Pinchas Zukerman. She has to her credit awards from a plethora of contests (among others, the Jascha Heifetz Competition and the Montreal International Violin Competition), and an imposing career as a concert artist, encompassing appearances in prestigious venues stretching from Canada to Beijing. Corinne Chapell is a frequent guest of major festivals including those of Aspen, Salzburg and Kuhmo, working with noted soloists and conductors such as Fabio Biondi, Adam Fischer, Heinz Holliger, Konstantin Lifschitz, or Alexander Lonquich.
